How frequently should I get this service?
- One week before treatment, avoid taking Aspirin and other blood thinning medications and supplements including Motrin, Ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil, ginkgo biloba, primrose oil, ginseng, garlic, and St. John’s Wort.
- 24 hours before your treatment, avoid excessive sun exposure and drinking alcohol.
- 48 hours before your treatment, it is recommended to begin taking an arnica supplement to help prevent bruising.
- Avoid tight headband/hat for 24hrs
- Consider using our Chrysalis arnica blossom gel to apply on treated areas to decrease bruising.
- No rubbing or massaging the treated area(s)
- Schedule your follow-up appointment in 7-10 days.
- Bruising and tenderness may occur at the injection site for a few days after treatment.
- A complimentary touch-up is offered up to 14 days post initial treatment. After 14 days, there is a $350 charge for a touch-up treatment.
