What areas can be treated?
Treated areas include underneath your chin, arms, abdomen, flanks, back, and inner or outer thighs.
Who is the best candidate for Bodyfit by PHYSIQ?
The PHYSIQ body sculpting treatment works best for individuals who are not obese, have a healthy lifestyle and/or just lost weight and need assistance in eliminating the remaining stubborn pockets of body fat. The closer to your ideal weight, the better.
What should I expect before, during, and after my treatment?
BEFORE your Bodyfit by PHYSIQ body contouring treatment, if necessary, you will want to shave the targeted area. PHYSIQ has four independent applicators that can deliver both heat and EMS. Dr. Park will place up to four applicators spaced along the desired area and secure them with a PHYSIQ body band.
DURING your Bodyfit by PHYSIQ body contouring treatment, you may feel warmth at the applicator site and you will feel muscle contractions during the EMS phases. Each treatment is 30 minutes with no downtime.
AFTER your Bodyfit by PHYSIQ body contouring treatment, you can expect muscle fatigue and slight soreness similar to having an effective workout as a symptom of the treatment’s muscle retoning technology. The area(s) may feel warm for a few hours post treatment.
How long does body contouring last?
Results are permanent, however it is important to note that lasting fat reduction after BodyFit by PHYSIQ must be maintained with a balanced lifestyle.
The long is a single treatment?
The length of treatment will depend on the area being treated but on average, treatments are 30 minutes with no downtime.
Can I treat more than one area in a single session?
Bodyfit by PHYSIQ has four applicators which may be used in sets of two on multiple areas in one single session. A maximum of three areas may be treated in one day.
How many treatments will I need?
Dr. Park recommends 5 sessions with each session spaced two weeks apart. While limited results are visible as early as 6 weeks after treatment, final results will gradually emerge during the next 6 weeks.

Initially, the deep penetration of heat and cooling at the applicator’s surface allows the skin’s temperature to rise only minimally. Secondly, the cycling between heat and EMS with STEP ensures the optimal temperature is reached and maintained throughout the treatment.
